hollow promises is a literate cat rpg, but not just any. we mean it when we say that this site is unique; ever heard of an african mutated cat roleplay? staff is friendly and humorous, the members kind and wonderful writers. our word minimum is 300 words, and if you are unable to post the expected amount then this is sadly not the site for you. we welcome everyone, but this is a literate roleplay.
the western side of Africa is full of not just big cats, but also domesticated. when mysterious scientists appear out of the blue and place a lab right in the center of it all, no one knows what to expect. they leave after six long years of making the fresh air putrid with chemicals, leaving a run down trailer in their wake. curious, the cats poke around and lap at the fluids on the floor, growing violently ill. the sick males mated, dying soon after making a she-cat pregnant. instead of going disease bitten, they had mutated kittens. believing the young cats were demons due to their murky colored fur and blood drawing spikes, the villagers threw them into a enclosure. the surviving cats lived and surprisingly, they thrived. after years of reproducing they were a strong community of mutations, hated by the humans and having a neutral relationship with the Locals. love affairs even occur, creating the uncommon Hyrbids. then a drought and prey shortage strikes at the Mutated, some turned to cannibalism while other's lived in constant fear. the future is easily twisted, just decide who to side with; the outcasts, the normal, or the ones right in between?
